项羽“乌江自刎”的史学和文学上的考辩——与冯其庸先生商榷

冯其庸先生在2007年发表了一篇题为《项羽不死于乌江考》的文章,在学术界引起了争议。笔者通过对地方志和相关材料的阅读,认为冯先生的观点尚值得商榷,并认为《史记》的记载没有问题,身死东城和乌江自刎不矛盾。"乌江自刎"故事的源流也并非是从元杂剧开始的,而是从敦煌变文开始就有"乌江自刎"的明确记载。
