An Analysis of the Tragedy of Madame Bovary——Conflict of Illusory Romanticism and Mundane Reality

本文通过对包法利夫人悲剧的再思考,提出了包法利夫人是自己浪漫情怀的牺牲品,是资产阶级时代的牺牲品,同时也是父权制的牺牲品,并进一步指出包法利夫人的悲剧是浪漫主义幻想在现实生活中破灭的结果。

In this paper through the reconsideration of the tragedy of Madame Bovary, the author points out that Madame Bovary, Emma is the victim of hew own romanticism, the vietim of Bourgeois Century, as well as the victim of patriarchy. It is further pointed out that the tragedy of Madame Bovary is the final result that her romantic illusion is shattered in reality.
