Death is the main theme of Baby Anne＇s novel. It conveys the close connection between heart and spirit and the unique aesthetic perspective. Her short story Farewell Wei＇an shows her unique aesthetic perspective of death to describe the course of individual lives, a reflection of her gloomy unique awareness of death and desolation. This paper reveals the awareness of death in this novel and analyzes the complexity and the feelings towards the end of the world in order to trigger a re-thinking about the true meaning of death.
