摘要
就语体而言,英语一般分为普通英语、文学英语和专用英语。不言而喻,军事英语属于专用英语的范畴。了解英语军事学术文章的文体特点对于阅读和写作是颇有益处的。文中探讨和分析了英语军事学术文章若干文体特征,如语态的使用、军事术语的构成以及长句的某些特定结构等。
As far as the types of writing style are concerned, English is in general classified into Common English, Literature English and English for Specific Purposes （ESP）. It goes without saying that military English belongs to the category of ESP. Understanding the stylistic characteristics of military English academic articles is useful to reading comprehension and paper writing. In this sense, some of their stylistic characteristics have been analyzed, such as application of voice, formation of military terms, and certain structures of long sentences.
