Observation on the Biological Characteristics of Theridion tepidariorum Koch

温室球腹蛛(Theridion tepidariorum Koch)在鲁东南沿海地区1年发生2代,但第2代不完整。翌年4月下旬出蛰,5月上旬开始产卵,卵期10.72d,幼蛛期320.4d,成蛛期76.2d。雌雄比为3∶1。成蛛日食麦蛾4.91头,是多种害虫的重要天敌。该蛛发生与食料、气温、天敌等关系密切。封山育林,林区内禁止使用化学农药,是保护成若蛛、扩大其繁殖的关键。

Theridion tepidariorum Koch has two generation a year in southeast littoral of Shandong Emergence occurs in late April the next year, oviposition in early May. Its average incubation period is 10.72 days, larva period 320.4 days. and adult period 76.2 days. Its number ratio of male to female is 3：1.It kills 4.91 Sitotroga cerealella on average each day. It is an important natural enemy of various insect pests. The outbreak of the spider has a close relationship with foods, air temperature and natural enemy. Closing hillsides and planting trees with prohibition of using chemical insecticide is the key to protect the larva and adult T. tepidariorum.
