语法化是一种语言演变的过程。语言形式的意义从实义词向虚义词转变,由功能实词向语法功能词转变。英语中许多单词和句型也是英语语法化的结果。语法化研究在英语教学中应用于介词搭配,词义引申,时、体系统等方面。对于英语教学有一定的启示作用。

＂Grammaticallzation is the changing process of a language. The meaning of language form turns from content words to functional words. Many English words and sentence patterns are the results of grammaticalization. Its application to English teaching mainly lies in preposition collocation, the extension of word meanings, system of tense and seine, etc. The research of grammaticalization is significant to the English language teaching.
