山东半岛直插渤海与黄海之间,为山东留下了3100多公里的海岸线。千百年来,从耕海牧渔到科技兴海,山东人一直在勤奋地耕耘着这片蓝色的土地。山东半岛蓝色经济区的提出,又为山东从海洋经济大省到海洋经济强省的跨越,提供了强劲的动力。
