Min Wei: The Black Pottery Dream

在济南齐鲁国际大厦的6楼A区，有这样一间工作室——不足20平米的室内，陈列着诸多造型的黑陶。

In a studio with an area less than 20 square meters at Area A of the sixth ,floor of Ojlu International Building in Jinan, there is a display of black pottery wares of diversified shapes. In this gallery, one will as if going back to the remote era of black pottery. Of course, this is only an illusion. The producer of these black pottery pieces is Min Wei, a young sculptor from Zhangqiu, Jinan. On the foundation of imitating the products of the ancient people, Min Wei adds some modern elements into his works. Through his works, Min Wei wishes to make a display of the black pottery art of the Longshan Culture that can be dated back to 4100-4900 years ago.
