This paper introduces the determination of the rational length of the #1201 extra long top coal caving longwall face with big mining height in Yuwu Coal Mine, Shanxi Lu＇an Mining Group. Also introduced is the selection of face equipment and other auxiliary equipment that prove to offer necessary productivity.
