This thesis emphasizes the position and function of the philosophy and social science education on the talents training pattern through the analysis of necessary and importance of strengthening the philosophy and social science education in the university of science and engineering, and on ＂the basis of new demands to the talents training and higher education development in the new period , it offers some measures and ways on how to strengthen humanities education in the university of science and engineering. This paper has important theoretical value and practical significance on how to construct the talents training pattern for merging science and humanities education in the university of science and engineering.
