略论韩愈和欧阳修祭文之异同

On the Differences and Similarities between Hanyu and OuyangXiu’s Funeral Oration

在散文创作上,韩愈、欧阳修的祭文都取得较大的成就。同为散文大家,其相同之处在于:在表现浓郁哀情的同时,寄寓了深沉的身世之叹;情感上悲怆动人;风格上缠绵悱恻。不同之处在于:韩文造语奇崛,欧文平易婉曲;韩文气势激荡,欧文纡徐缅邈。这些异同缘于二人所处的时代以及个人的身世遭际。

With regards to the creation of prose, they both got great achievements. Both as masters of prose, they share certain similarities, for instance, expressing strong sentimentality, they both give a sigh tone on their life＇s experience in writing, which is tragically moving and exceedingly sad and sentimental in writing style. Here comes to the differences. To begin with, Han Yu＇s wording is original and magnificent while 0uyang Xiu＇s sim- pie and euphemistic. Hart Yu＇s writing is full of power and grandeur while Ouyang Xiu＇s soothing and euphemistic. These differences and similarities result from the different eras they live in and the life experience that they respectively get.
