摘要
对５６Ｋ高速调制解调器技术的基本原理进行了简要分析，对国际上该技术的研究和标准化进展给予了简单介绍，并阐述了该技术在实际应用中的优势和问题．
The principle of technique of 56Kbps high speed MODEM was analyzed, and the recent progress of researching and standardization of the technique in the world was abstractly introduced. Some of the author's view in the advantages and the problems of the application fo 56K MODEM were discussed.
