Elementary Introduction to Software Radio and Its Technologies

传统的硬件电台存在着种种弊端,为了克服这些缺点,人们提出了软件电台的概念.文章介绍了软件无线电的发展概况以及美国的易通话(SPEAKEASY)计划,重点介绍了软件电台的特征和结构及所运用的关键技术,并且指出软件电台将不只作为军用,它对未来的个人通信业务(PCS)系统也将具有重要的应用价值.

The development of software radio and the Ameri-can SPEAKEASY plan are introduced in this paper. The emphasis is on the characteristics and structure of software radio and its key technologies. It is pointed out that software radio is not only good for military use but also important to be used in future PCS systems.
