摘要
以问卷和词汇量测试量表为工具,对481名大学生的外语词汇学习学习现状(观念、策略、词汇量等)进行了调查研究。结果显示:(1)受试认同词汇要在用中学;他们最常用策略是查词典、猜测词义和记笔记;受试平均词汇量水平较低。(2)部分策略的使用在学业层次和学科专业上均呈现显著差异。(3)四项元认知和认知策略与受试的词汇量显著相关。研究结果为如何促进外语词汇教学与学习的决策提供了参考依据。
The present study, by use of questionnaire and vocabulary tests, investigates and outlines the FL vocabulary learning of 481 undergraduates in terms of their understanding of vocabulary learning, strategy use and vocabulary size. The result shows that: (1) Objects have the belief that vocabulary should be learned in using them; the most frequently used strategies include dictionary use, guessing the meaning and note-taking; objects average out to a small vocabulary size. (2) Significant differences exist in the using of some strategies between different graders and different majors. ( 3 ) Four strategies ( cognitive & meta-eognitire) siguificantly correlate with vocabulary size. The research results may probably offer empirical reference for the issue of how to improve FL vocabulary teaching and learning.
