Discussion of Existentialism’s revelations on Positive Psychology

积极心理学产生于20世纪末的美国,是西方心理学近10年来新出现的研究取向,其产生的社会背景、理论基础及研究内容等都与存在主义有深刻联系。存在主义作为一种新的人本主义思潮,对人的生存方式、对于社会制度有独特认识,存在主义本体论对于积极心理学治疗也产生有重要影响和启示。

The article probes into the positive effects which existentialism exerts to positive psychology considering three aspects - the backgound of the origin and the development of positive psychology , research issues and systematic ideology , and application to counseling and psychotherapy. It focuses mainly on the enlightenment that existentialism , as a philosophical trend of thought , brought to positive psychology with the opinion of humanity , the way of human subsistence and human＇s distinction , and the promotion for positive psychology to differ from traditional model of psychology by the influence of existentialism＇s innovative ontology.
