Brief Analysis on English Extensive Reading Practice

英语泛读是英语专业学生的一门重要必修课。旨在提高学生英语阅读理解能力,扩大英语词汇量,并且掌握基本的阅读技巧。其主要目标是培养学生具有较强的阅读能力。从阅读的重要地位,教学现存的问题等几个方面结合教学实践进行分析,在此基础上提出自己的几点看法。

English extensive reading is one of the compulsory subjects for English majors with such purposes as to improve students＇English comprehensive ability, to enlarge English vocabulary, and to cultivate their reading abilities. This article analyses the teaching practice from different aspects, and the author also put forward some personal views on that.
