还没有听说过中国生产有采用铝制车厢的轻量化的自卸半挂车或自卸车，而在德国，自卸（半）挂车的轻量化正开展得如火如荼。几乎所有的自卸挂车制造商都在致力于这方面的改进工作，包括Schmitz、Langendorf、Kempf、Meierling和Camehl公司等。
