摘要
为了解决数据链带宽低与图像数据信息量大的矛盾,实现对图像信息的实时传输,提出了一种高效的图像压缩方案,引入提升小波变换与状态位图思想改进SPIHT算法,降低了运算量,提高了恢复图像质量与编码速度。实验结果表明,在相同的输出比特率情况下不仅重构图像的峰值信噪比得到提高,而且缩短了编码时间。
In order to solve the contradiction between the low bandwidth of data-link and large amount of image data, and to realize real-time transmission of images, an effective image compression scheme is put forward. Lifting wavelet transform and the idea of symbol flag are introduced to improve SPIHT (Set Partitioning In Hierarchical Trees) algorithm. The computation cost is reduced, the reconstructed image quality and coding speed are improved. Experiments showed that: with the method, the Peak Signal-Noise Ratio(PSNR) is improved and the coding time is reduced with the same output bit rate.
