The Social Investigation Practice of Postgraduates and Cultivation of Their Capacity of Conducting Scientific Research

在研究生不断扩招的情况下,如何加强研究生的科研能力训练,保证培养质量,特别是避免学位论文的闭门造车甚至抄袭?云南大学马克思主义民族理论与政策专业,在长期的研究生培养过程中,注重研究生社会调查实践和科研能力培养。研究生学位论文达到较高质量,两篇博士学位论文在人民出版社出版,并双双获得云南省优秀博士学位论文奖;硕士生学位论文也在理论与实践相结合方面取得较好成绩。在教育部2004年9月进行的民族学一级学科评估中,云南大学名列前茅。

The enrollment of postgraduates is increased in our country. Then how to strengthen the cultivation of their capacity of conducting scientific research so as to ensure the quality of cultivation and prevent them from plagiarism or narrow-mindedness in their thesis. In the long process of cultivating the postgraduates majoring in Marxist national theory and policy, Yunnan University lays emphasis on their practice of social investigation and their capacity of conducting research. Their theses are of high quality, and two doctorial theses were published by People＇s Publishing House, granted the Award of Excellent Doetorial Dissertation of Yunnan Province. The theses by masters also made great achievements in the combination of theory and practice. In the evaluation of the first-class subjects in ethnology conducted by the Ministry of Education in Sept. 2004, Yunnan University ranked the first.
