在古希腊古典时期的哲学中,许多哲学家都对灵魂进行了论述,特别是柏拉图和亚里士多德对灵魂问题进行了定义、解释和说明,赋予了灵魂以不同的意义。他们都以灵魂问题为切入点,在人类认识史上开启了哲学基本问题的研究,从而使灵魂问题成为古希腊哲学中一个重要的基本问题;同时,这也奠定了西方哲学发展的基本方向和特点。
In the classical period of ancient Greek philosophy, many philosophers, especially Plato and Aristotle, have discussed the soul on the definition, explanations and introductions in their works. They have entrusted the soul with different meanings. The definition of soul marked the startinglpoint in the study of the fundamental issues of philosophy. The notion of soul had thus become the fundamental issues of ancient Greek philosophy. At the same time, it also laid the basic towards of the Western philosophy development and its characteristics.
