A New Discussion of Inchoation of Examinations of Fu Poems for Choosing Officials

一些论唐代科举制以及唐代律赋的史学或文学著述,都认为以试赋取士始于唐代。其实,唐代试赋取士是沿隋制,并非唐统治者的创举。无论是从献赋与纳赋的制度来看,还是从隋唐取士考文的实例,以及此期杂文与文之关系来看,唐以前就存在以试赋取士的情况。

It has been considered to start with in the Tang Dynasty for choosing the Government officials by examining Fu poems and poetry of examinees in some historiography and literature writings about imperial examinations and ruled fu poems in the Tang Dynasty. In fact, it follows the system of the Sui Dynasty, not being gubernatorials＇ pioneering work in the Tang Dynasty. For understanding exactly the histories of literature, culture and Fu poems, here it is necessary to be expatiated for the first time of examining Fu poems in ancient.
