The Elastic and Efficient Digital Resource Storage System Based on the Open iSCSI Protocol

数字资源的爆炸性增长带来存储领域的飞速发展,许多新的技术层出不穷,而iSCSI协议的出现,则打破了FC一统SAN的格局。文章从DAS、NAS及FC—SAN存储架构的发展入手,对iSCSI协议的工作原理进行了详细分析,探讨了基于该协议来构建高校数字图书馆存储系统的优势所在。

The development in the storage field, caused by the plosive acceleration in digital resource, lies in many new technologies, and the introducing of iSCSI protocol has broke the dominating role of FC in SAN. The paper, by examining the storage frame of DAS, NAS, and FC--SAN, explored the work manage theory of iSCSI protocol as well as the advantage of iSCSI protocol which was to construct the storage system in higher school libraries.
