A Brief Introduction of Mega Block Shipbuilding Method

巨型总段造船法是韩国近几年采用的几种新造船方法的基础和代表,它可以方便地与平地造船法、浮船坞造船法结合使用,具有提高造船效率和产量、减少投资费用、较快形成产能等优点。本文主要介绍了巨型总段造船法的特点、发展历程、应用现状、相对于大型分段造船法的创新突破,以及巨型总段的运输、吊装、精度控制等相关设备和技术。

Mega block shipbuilding method has been the foundation and representation of the new shipbuilding methods of South Korea m recent years. It can be used together with the ground method and the floating drydock method to offer the advantages of raising efficiency and productivity of shipbuilding, reducing investment cost and increasing production capacity. This paper introduces the characteristics, development, application and innovation of the mega block method and the relative equipments and technology for transportation, lifting and accuracy control of the mega blocks.
