The third book ＂Rome＂ of ＂Années de Pélerinage＂ belongs to the late works of the composer Liszt and the composer＇s important ideas and creative techniques in his later years has demonstrated in it. In this paper, this work＇s artistic characteristics has been studied on the form and subject,i, e. analyzing the Multi - Function and Features of the tide, aggregating three major characteristics of the divertimento music forms, expounding the themes characteristic of natural landscapes and mourning factors in works creation, to try to demonstrate Liszt＇s concepts on art and creative thought in his later years.
