Development of reservoir intelligent decision-making supporting system is the developing tendency of reservoir operation. Data mining techniques can provide an effective solution for the development of intelligent decision making system. By analyzing the information features, the necessity of introducing the data base and data mining technology applied into reservoir intelligent decision-making was discussed and a complete system model was established. Each major component of this model, its crucial technology and realization scheme were discussed.
