The theory and practice of lifelong education have broken through the range oftraditional education, and also put forward a claim to reform present education of different forms. Senior citizen education is an important part of lifelong education. It is theoretically and practically significant for the planning of future senior citizen education and the development of senior citizen education to analyse and study the present situation of Ningbo senior citizen education by using the theory of lifelong education, carefully review the experiences and raise the existing problems as well as countermeasures.
