On the Characteristic of Hailing Dialect Vocabulary and the Reason of its Forming and Development

通过对海陵方言与普通话、海陵方言与吴语,以及新老派海陵方言的对比,对海陵方言的词汇特点进行尝试性的分析,并对其历史形成原因加以推究。

The paper tries to analyse the characteristic of Hailing dialect vocabulary by contrasting Hailing dialect and mandarin, Hailing and Wu dialect, and theold and new Hailing dialect. Finally, the paper discusses its forming and development in history.
