始自2008年的全球金融危机，对矿业开采及相关上下游行业产生了明显的影响，国内外矿产品价格一路下跌．矿山企业面临较大的冲击。专家表示，矿产品需求减缓、矿产品价格下跌，矿业融资困难、矿业企业减产等状况还将持续一段时期。同样，国内经过价格高涨后的矿产品需求也将趋缓．但矿产品需求的基本面并未出现根本性改变，仍将继续承担拉动全球矿业经济发展的火车头作用。中国矿业联合会副会长崔德文认为，金融危机对矿山行业的影响是全面的，但影响的程度各个行业都不尽相同。
