汉灵帝从熹平四年到中平六年先后采取了辜榷官府财物、开榜卖官鬻爵、公开敕输捐税、别征东园礼钱等四项措施,大肆聚敛私财。他在汲取民脂民膏,积聚财富的同时,也为自己的王朝掘好了坟墓。

From the fourth year of Xiping to the sixth year of Guanhe, the Emperor Ling adopted four actions successively., selling property of government, selling the senior official publicly, ordering to collect high revenue, collecting the East Garden＇s money, and in breif amassd private money boldly. He used the public authority to gain people＇s ＂belongings and accumulated his wealth, but also dug a grave for his dynasty well.
