To solve the problem that water-borne colored wood paints are susceptible to discoloration, the simple and effective method is using water-borne sealing primer. This paper discusses the influence of different water-borne binders, additives, substrate wetting agents on sealing property; and discusses the reason of discoloration of water-borne wood coatings.
