This paper summaries the development status of Ф1420 mm LSAW （longitudinal submerged are welded） pipe used for the North-european gas pipeline in Vyksa Steel Works subordinating to the United Metallurgical Company of Russia. It introduces the chemical composition and mechanical properties of steel plate produced by Severstal of Russia and Dillinger Hüttenwerke of Germany, mechanical properties of finished welded pipe and technical requirements for weld seam.
