The paper introduced the advantages and disadvantages of instruments with GPIB/PXI/VXI, and represented the advantages of instruments with GPIB/PXI/VXI turned to LXI from some aspects such as facilities, flexibilities and expansibilities. The use of LXI can not only reduce costs, system size and integration, improve the transfer of data, but also can use the hardware and sot^ccare repeatedly, make the use of network in the modem measurement and test, it provide a wide choice and application of various system.
