Automatic tensile tests of elastomeric yarns-problems and their possible solution

介绍用普通的CRE型拉伸试验机测试无包覆弹性纤维所得伸长结果的校正方法,测试过程中夹持器内纤维部分地滑动。确定了滑移的程度,提出了校正方程式。按照提出方法校正的结果与BISFA旋转夹持法获得的正确结果非常接近。所提出的方法也能应用于其他检验所得结果的校正。

This paper is intended to present a method for correction of elongation results received by testing of bare elastomeric yarns with a conventional CRE type tensile tester, which partially slip in the clamps during the test procedure. The degree of slippage is determined and a corrective formula is proposed. The results cor- rected according to the proposed method are very close to the correct results obtained by the BISFA rotary clamp method. The proposed method could be applied for correction of results received by other examinations and tests too.
