Statistical Analysis of the Papers and Citations in Acta Oceanologica Sinica from 1992 to 1996

统计了《海洋学报》1992～1996年论文的作者人数、专业分布和引文的数量、时间、语种、文献类型等,并进行了分析。结果表明,该刊5年间共发表论文533篇,平均每篇论文引文11.39篇,总引文率为99.80％。有外文引文的论文占89.49％,外文引文量高于中文12.90％,其中英文引文量占总外文引文量的96.62％。海洋工作者的文献信息68.11％来源于期刊,其中外刊高于中文期刊20.80％。因此加强期刊工作,特别是外刊的文献服务工作尤为重要.

Statistics and analysis have been made on the number of authors ,speciality distribu tion and citations (including the quantity, time, languages and types of documents) of the papers published in Acta Oceanologica Sinica from 1992 to 1996,which shows that 533 papers were published in these five years, 99. 80 percent of which had citations with an average of 11. 39 in each paper. Papers with foreign citations made up 89. 49 percent of the total. Foreign citations were 12. 90 percent more than Chinese citations, and English citations made up 99. 8 percent of the to tal foreign citations. 68. 11 percent of the citations were from journals, and those from foreign journals are 20. 80 percent more than those from Chinese journals, which shows that it is very important to enhance journal information services especially foreign journal information services.
