摘要
日本人在用汉字对接西方文化时,是力图以汉字去适应西方的思想原貌,日本新词中的日本文化性,比起严复译词中的中国文化性来,更接近西方文化的性质,更适于对西方工业体系/教育体系/知识体系的表达。中国在救国图强的紧迫性中,全面引进日本新语,又正合了要在最短时间找到把握西方工业体系/教育体系/知识体系的语言工具的实用心理。甲午战败后中国全面引进日本政治体制和教育体制,都为日本新词成为中国现代哲学基本语汇提供了背景支持。
When using Chinese characters to express Western culture Japanese attempt to suit original appearance of Western ideology.Compared with the nature of Chinese culture in Yan Fu's translation statement the nature of Japanese culture in new Japanese words is closer to the nature of Western culture and is more suitable to express Western systems of education, industry and knowledge.In dire need of saving China and seeking strength new Japanese language was comprehensively introduced, which also fitted the practical psychology that the tool of grasping language should be found within the shortest period.After the loss in the Sino-Japanese War 1894-1895 overall introduction of Japanese political and educational systems provided background support for new Japanese words to become basic vocabulary of Chinese modern philosophy.
