The Functions of Literature and Arts Viewed from Repression and Release

压抑是精神分析心理学的一个重要概念,对压抑以及如何释放压仰的理解,不限于精神分析心理学一种。如果从压抑与释放的角度考量文学艺术的创作以及欣赏,考量文学艺术在心理的调节、养护和促进心理健康的作用却是很有意义的。通过文学艺术活动疏泄主体的欲望和情绪,寄托自己的思想和情感,艺术而隐蔽的宣泄,涤除消极情绪,达到感情和理解的协调。

Repression is an important concept of psychoanalysis. Understanding it and how to release it should not be confined in psychoanalysis. It is meaningful if the creation and appreciation of literature and arts, and the roles of literature arts on how to adjust, nuture and promote a healthy mentality are examined from the perspective of repression and release.
