翻译研究中的“偏激性”刍议

Discussions on the extremeness in translation study

翻译研究中存在大量"偏激性"现象,"偏激性"的存在跟个人思维、性情,具体的语境以及表达策略等密切相关。有些的确可归于"偏激"之列,但更多的是个性、语境使然或仅仅是一种表达性策略。对此,研究者有必要分别对待,对于后者毋须大惊小怪,更无必要时时处处纠正之以显示其"客观、公正、科学、理性"。

In translation studies there are countless phenomena of ＂extremeness＂, which is related to one＇s thinking, temperament, context, expression strategies, etc. Some phenomena can be classified as ＂true extremeness, while more are the result of ones temper- ament, special context, or a kind of expression strategy. For this, scholars and researchers should adopt different ways to treat ＂extremeness＂, and in the latter case,one should not make a fuss or try to make readjustments so as to show his or her ＂objectivity, fairness, science and rationality＂.
