论南通的区划调整及市县一体化体制构建

On the Adjustment of Administrative Area in Nantong and Integrated Strategic Development of Counties and the City

随着苏通大桥的建成及多条过江大通道的建设,南通的区位条件发生了根本性变化。南通必须抓住这一历史性机遇,及时进行区划调整,在通州撤市建区后,以敢为人先、勇于创新的精神,在"省管县"、"市管县"两种机制中另辟蹊径,以市县一体化的新体制构建一个真正滨江临海的大南通市、新南通市,为南通发展成我国沿海重要的经济中心提供新的体制基础。

With the completion of Sutong Bridge and the construction of other major thoroughfares across the Yangtze River, the location of Nantong has changed greatly. Nantong must seize this historic opportunity, adjust the administrative area, and with the spirit of being pioneers and innovative, seek the method for integrated strategic development of counties and the city. This would help construct a really big and new Nantong city which faces the Yellow Sea and the Yangtze River and develop Nantong into an important coastal economic center in China.
