美国著名作家索尔·贝娄的小说深刻地影响了二战以后的美国文学。从索尔·贝娄几部小说中所呈现的"犹太性"可以看出贝娄不同时期小说中"犹太性"的嬗变:从早期小说中犹太性的表层局部地呈现到中期隐蔽性地渗透,再到晚期纵横开阖地深刻呈现,对"犹太性"的剖析为透彻地理解贝娄及其小说提供了一个更加开阔的视角。

Saul Bellow, the American famous writer, dominated postwar 20th century American literature with novels. This thesis intends to do some research on the Jewishness presented in Bellow＇s novels to reveal the changing feature of Jewishness in different phases of Bellow＇s novels： from the direct revelation of Jewishness on the superficial and limited levels in Bellow＇s early novels to the hidden infiltration of Jewishness in Bellow＇s middle writing period, till the Jewishness in transverse and longitudinal sections in Bellow＇s late period. Thus we can get an entire understanding of Bellow and Bellow＇ s works.
