摘要
《三国演义》是中国古典文化的经典之作,是中华文明的绚丽瑰宝。美国汉学家罗慕士将其译为英语,使更多的英语读者领略了其魅力。笔者以罗氏《三国演义》的英译本为蓝本,在关联理论翻译观的指导下,详细例证了补充、省略、转换、加注等几种间接翻译策略。
Three Kingdoms is one of the Chinese classics, which owns the glorious fame in the literary history. American Sinologist Moss Roberts translated it into English, and more and more English readers would appreciate its beauty. Based upon the Relevance Theory of Translation, this thesis mainly illustrates several translation strategies with examples from Three Kingdoms by Roberts in order to show the guidance of this theory on practice.
