图像分割是图像处理和计算机视觉中一个关键步骤,也是图像理解的基础。近年来由于其在图像处理领域的应用价值,开始作为一个重要的课题受到研究者的重视。该文从传统和新型角度出发,整理和分析了大量的研究文献,系统的介绍了图像分割的各种理论基础及其应用。

Image segmentation is a key step in image processing and computer vision,it is also the foundation of image understanding. Recently image segmentation is valued as an important topic according to its significance at image processing domain. This paper systematically introduces theories foundation and application of image segmentation from the traditional and innovative points.
