The Impact of Overseas Sinology in the New Period on the Study of Modern Chinese Literature

改革开放30年海外汉学对中国现当代文学研究影响甚大,主要表现在:第一,海外汉学对20世纪中国文学散佚资料的搜集、整理作出了巨大贡献,某些海外汉学著作本身就是极具参考价值的重要文献;第二,海外汉学促进了大陆文学评判标准的改变;第三,海外汉学提供了新的研究视角和研究方法,拓宽了中国现当代文学研究空间。

Since 1978, overseas Sinology has made a great impact on the study of modern Chinese literature. First, overseas Sinology has contributed much to the collection of materials for Chinese literature of the 20th century. Some Sinological works are very valuable or important documents. Second, overseas Sinology has promoted a change of the judgment standard of literature of the mainland of China. Third, Sinology has provided new angles of view and methods of research, and has broadened the research field of modern Chinese literature.
