英汉篇章对比分析与英语写作研究

Contrastive Analysis of English and Chinese Text Structures and the Application to English Writing

即使有着良好语文基础的中国学生,用英文写作时,英语母语者读起来还是感到词不达意,不易理解。究其原因,是篇章中的衔接结构、文风和语篇结构差异所致。应通过对比中西文化传统、思维模式及由此形成的不同语言特色,增强跨文化交际意识,来促进文章整体交流效果,而不只拘泥于一词一句的正确。

For many Chinese students, they have a common problem that their words fail to convey their ideas in English writing, for lack of the differences between English and Chinese texts in terms of text cohesion, text style and text pattern. This paper holds that, to compose typical English writings, Chinese students shall reinforce their cross- cultural consciousness through the contrast between Chinese and Western cultures, thinking patterns and language styles.
