中国共产党关于统筹兼顾的思想,经历了几代人的努力,在继承发展的基础上,由"均衡发展型"、"非均衡发展型"到"可持续发展型"和"科学发展型"。这一思想的历史演进过程,正是中国社会经济发展的过程。经过实践检验后,统筹兼顾成为科学发展观的根本方法。

The communist party of China on overall consideration experienced the efforts of several generations. On the basis of inheriting and developing, the thought of overall consideration has developed from ＂balanced development-oriented＂ and ＂non-equilibrium development-oriented＂ style to ＂sustainable＂ and ＂scientific development-oriented＂ style. The historical evolution process of this idea is just the process of the development of Chinese society and economy. After the examination of practice, overall consideration becomes the fundamental method of the Scientific Outlook on Development.
