基于FT2232H的USB-RS232转换模块设计

Design of USB-RS232 converter module based on FT2232H

鉴于大量外围设备和软件使用RS232串口标准,为了充分利用USB的传输速度快,连接简单快捷,即插即用等优势,给出一种采用第5代USB-to-UART-FIFO器件FT2232H设计USB-RS232转换器的方案。详细介绍FT2232H的主要特点、内部结构及功能原理,给出USB/UART RS232接口电路设计和驱动软件。与其他设计方案相比,该系统设计具有数据传输速率快,可配置2个RS232接口等优点。

There are still a lot of peripheral equipments and sofiwares using the RS232 serial standards. In order to make full use of the advantages of USB, such as fast transmission speed, fast and easy to connect, plug and play, this paper gives a design scheme about USB-RS232 convertor based on FT2232H,which is the new fifth-generation USB-to-UART/ FIFO chip. This paper introduces the key features, the internal structure and the principle of function of FT2232H,and gives the design of USB/UART RS232 interface circuit and driver software.Compared to other design programs,this system design has some advantages such as faster data transfering rate. two RS232 interfaces and so on.
