Internet的迅猛发展和普及为流媒体业务的发展提供了强大的市场动力,流媒体业务正日益流行,广泛应用于互联网信息服务的方方面面。首先介绍了流媒体技术及相关概念,描述了流媒体技术在远程教育、视频点播、视频会议及互联网直播方面的应用;最后对流媒体技术的最新发展进行了展望。
The rapid development and popularization of the Internet has provided a strong market power for stream media business. Stream media business is spreading and applied to internet information service. The author introduces the related concepts and describes application of stream media technology to remote education, video order broadcast, video conference and internet online broadcast. Finally, the development trend for the technology is prospected.
