The equipment asset management of grid companies of nowadays is not just simple management of equipment, it has been built into a comprehensive process to plan, manage and operate the equipment assets, but equipment management itself is still relatively less good than expected. The paper studies on how to use ERP system to improve management mode and process of equipment assets, to realize life cycle management of such assets, and to realize streamlined asset management.
