Alice Walker has been deeply concerned about the ecological crisis of the world and the existential plight of black women. Her writings are skillfully furnished with her eco-feminist ideas on gender, race and nature. This paper presents an eeo-feminist reading of Walker's five novels, aiming to demonstrate the author's examination of the logical relationship between sexism and "nature discrimination", and her resistance against the feminization of nature.
