摘要
俄罗斯当代著名作家弗拉基米尔·马卡宁的近作——长篇小说《惊恐》运用宁芙神话原型架构人物关系,与纳博科夫的《洛丽塔》在题材、人物等方面有很多相似之处。本文通过分析《惊恐》的主要情节与主人公特征、小说对宁芙原型的运用、以及小说与"洛丽塔"模式的关系,指出作家将细致的心理分析与含蓄的社会背景勾勒相结合,深刻揭露了人性的复杂与自我矛盾。
Fright is a recent novel by contemporary Russian writer Vladimir Makanin. Beginning with a plot analysis of the novel, this essay traces Makanin＇s manipulation of the myth of nymph in characterization, compares and contrasts Fright and Lolita in terms of the motif of ＂Lolita＂, and then concludes that Makanin＇s exploration of human nature （ its complexity and contradictions） is achieved through a subtle description of individual psychology and social reality.
