影视教学的目的是让学生接触不同语境中的真实语言,从而为学生提供地道、生动、真实的语言环境,使其掌握目的语国家相应的文化背景知识、风土人情,有效提高大学生的听说能力。

The purpose of teaching English through videos is to give the students chances to learn vivid native language in different environment and make them know well about the foreign country＇ s cultural background knowledge, customs and thus to improve their listening and speaking ability greatly through watching movies.
